texte = WebDNA has a bug on OS X, which occurs on a certain load. It's discussed = here already ... the "sem_open" bug, WebDNA doesn't close connections = properly ... Chris fixed the bug for version 7, but it also exists in version 6.2, = where it's a bit more difficult to fix it. For us it's quite important to have it fixed and we'd be willing to pay = something for it.=20 People who are willing to pay for it shall contact me privately, so we = could give Chris the order to fix it.=20 The more people participate the less we have to pay. The complete costs will be between $800 and $1200. Below is the mail I got from chris. Thierry > Thierry, i just worked on this with the developer. Fixing sem_open for = 6.2 will be a lot more difficult to do than for the FastCGI. It's not = that it is hard to fix the sem_open bug; rather, the issue is with = building 6.2. and we will need to spend about 2 days figuring that out = and getting the build environment prepared. We also need to grab MySQL = to statically link against. And finally we need to get a test = environment setup. Also, we don't know if there are other revisions or = fixes Donovan team may have done for 6.2 that aren't in our SVN. >=20 > I suggest you speak privately (or publicly) with Rob Forest who has = the same problem with his 6.2 copy: a group of several users could club = together to get it fixed.
