Checked =E2=80=A6Services and WebCat =E2=80==A6.running. Even tried restarting the services, definitely running and unde=r Task Manager (Processes), it also shows running fine =E2=80=A6again no luc=k.

Checked p=ath to .dll =E2=80=A6.again, all is fine but still no luck. That is why I am= getting frustrated. Every configuration settings are correct. Like you, I t=oo run Win servers and am damn familiar with it =E2=80=A6.except Win2008. Th=e 2 XP Pro IIS5.1 servers with WebDNA has been really solid for more than 5 y=ears now. Why today =E2=80=A6.with nothing added to it from a non-silicon li=fe form. No storage space issues, no fat logs =E2=80=A6=E2=80=A6=E2=80=A6not=hing.

I h=ave always run windoze servers and the only time I ever get that message is w=hen I purposely stop the webcat service.

 

Have a lo=ok at why the service isn't running

 

Maybe the pat=h to the .dll has been changed ??

Need help here. I have 2 machines, both WinXP Pro SP3 running IIS 5.1. Both= have WebDNA 6.2 for Windows installed where one has an operational serial a=nd the other, a developer serial.

Next, I uninst=alled WebDNA, when done =E2=80=A6went through the root folder to remove =E2=80==9CWebCatalog=E2=80=9D folder and in the =E2=80=9CScripts=E2=80=9D folder, =E2==80=9CwebCatalogEngine=E2=80=9D. In essence, a complete wipe out of WebDNA o=n the machine. Then followed with a clean fresh install of WebDNA 6.2 and =E2==80=A6..still no joy. The same error.

What is going on?= I am now clueless as to what to do next. Everything fine till today and on a=ll Win XP Pro boxes. Going bonkers!

Note, I have 2 addi=tional servers running Win2003, WebDNA 6.2, operational serials =E2=80=A6.bo=th of which are running OK without incident to date. So, only WinXP Pro serv=ers are WebDNA down. Reverting the server back to non-WebDNA ops shows no pr=oblems with IIS 5.1, served plain vanilla pages fine.

 

A=nyone out there experiencing the same problem?=
