This is not a FastCGI version so it will not work with high performance servers such as Lighttpd or Nginx. Instead it is designed to run only under Apache. "WebDNA Server" (and the current v6.2) is available for some flavors of Linux and MacOS. It is not available for Windows. It offers SQL support, and unlike in the past it is now multi-domain accelerated without paying a separate accelerator fee for each domain. For FastCGI support the following info applies: You can acquire FastCGI support via v7.0 or v7.1. These are "single-domain" versions which means they run in accelerated mode only on the one domain you give to WSC when you buy the accelerator license. They will serve multiple domains when the server is configured properly, but only the original domain is accelerated. The only technical differences I am aware of between v7.0 and v7.1 are these: You need v7.0 for SQL support, and updates to v7.1 are not back-ported to v7.0 so you won't get all the bug fixes and new features in v7.0 that exist in v7.1. Given the fact that v7.0 is neither mentioned nor promoted on the website (and is available only via special request) I believe they are phasing it out. This will save WSC money, but it will also leave them without a SQL-capable FastCGI product. If any of this info is wrong I welcome WSC's corrections. > Dear Donovan, > > You write > > "...* Intel Platform through Mac OS X (10.8x, Mountain > Lion)..." > > Does this mean that you support webdna using the Server > App whoch is a part of Mac OS X Expansion Package or is > all to be configured manually in Apache etc.? > > Secondly, what will be the difference between 6.2 and > FastCGI?
