texte = I didn't mean to blame you for not understanding. Some things are not obvious without good examples, and my first example was not capable of illustrating the important issues clearly. The docs have sucked for some tags/contexts for a very long time. They got much better with the current webdna.us site but some are still poor and/or confusing. I'm glad it's working for you now. At least there's no obvious bugs in your version. There may be other ways to extract the strings you desire, but I would have to have the actual content you want to work on before I could come up with a solution ... and examples of the strings appearing within the content that you're trying to extract.
