Hi Dale, Personally I find Debian more difficult and confusing to setup and configure than Ubuntu. Twice I suggested Ubuntu 14.04 over anything Debian, but you chose Debian. I was willing to help you with an Ubuntu install but I cannot help with Debian since I abandoned that OS long ago.
