Hey folks! I hope that everybody is doing =well, it's been awhile (again).
I've got a little project that I volunteered for at =work andthat is to make sense of some XML that is gathered on PC workstations =for oursales team so that they can present the findings (for compatibility =reasons) toclients. Before I began the project, I thought I'd ask you fine =folks ifanybody has some ready-made XML parsing scripts already created that I =couldperhaps borrow or purchase? Thought it'd save some time though I'm =sure that Icould stumble through it if nothing is ready made.
For reference, the XML is simple and is saved to a =file withoutput such as:
=<Workstation>
=<HostName>OP2</HostName>
=<Processorname>Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @3.20GHz</Processorname>
=<ProcessorSpeed>3.201</ProcessorSpeed>
=<ProcessorCores>4</ProcessorCores>
=<Architecture>64</Architecture>
=<OperatingSystem>Microsoft Windows 7Professional </OperatingSystem>
=<Ram>3</Ram>
=<FreeSpace>860</FreeSpace>
=<GraphicsCard>Intel(R) HDGraphics</GraphicsCard>
=<GraphicsMemoryinGB>1</GraphicsMemoryinGB>
=<DotNetVersion>4.5.2 orlater</DotNetVersion>
=<LastWindowsUpdate>2016-09-3017:55:03</LastWindowsUpdate>
=<IsVirtualMachine>False</IsVirtualMachine>
=<LANSpeed>100</LANSpeed>
=<CurrentSidexisVersion>
=</CurrentSidexisVersion>
=<ImagingPluginType>No PluginInstalled</ImagingPluginType>
=<PluginVersion>
=</PluginVersion>
=</Workstation>
=<Workstation>
=<HostName>OP4</HostName>
=<Processorname>Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @3.30GHz</Processorname>
.....etc
Feel free to email if you prefer or if there's some =tipsfrom the pro's. I imagine a lot of [listwords] commands being used =here-
Thanks!
