Palle, If you think it might be bad hardware, especially a bad hard drive, please make a backup immediately. I barely got a backup made one time when a hard drive was about to fail. I was very lucky because the hard drive came to a screeching halt a couple of hours later! Ahh, sorry wasn=92t clear, I meant to say fresh rath= er than cloned on a new physical disk, as this would help reveal if it's th= e OS/software/config or a hardware issue.

That was precisely what I did. I gave it a Clean Format HDD= , FreshOS install and a fresh WebDNA. The result was the same as before tha= t exercise.

Hense my fear that it could be my HDD...

I have no actual experience with defective HDD's, but what I can say - and = it might sound funny - it seems like the system get=92s knocked out off it= =92s time zone once in a while - and yes, I am talking about the very same = HW/OS/WebDNA setup.

I am thinking that it might come from a misbehaving HDD, ju= st a thought. Besides that I am left with absolute no clue for now.

Palle,

If you think it might be bad hardware, especially a
bad hard drive, please make a backup immediately.

I barely got a backup made one time when a hard drive was
about to fail. I was very lucky because the hard drive came
to a screeching halt a couple of hours later!
