I was very lucky because the hard drive came to a screeching halt a couple of hours later! Palle,

If you think it might be bad hardware, especially a
bad hard drive, please make a backup immediately.

I barely got a backup made one time when a hard drive was
about to fail. I was very lucky because the hard drive came
to a screeching halt a couple of hours later!
