Exclude by date - multiple

texte = Hey WebCat brainiards...I've got a problem thats got me stumped (not a difficult task by the way).I have a db of events which have starting and ending dates. In my searchform I have an option to require that the search limit its results to thosethat are happening during a client-supplied date range (in addition tolimiting the search by event type, keyword etc.). Ok, simple enougheverything works so far... The problem I have is that I'd also like thesearch to require that the records ALWAYS have an ending date AFTER todaysdate. And therein lies my problem, that is having multiple requiredsearches on the same field with multiple values - Here I think my problemcode will better demonstrate:----------------------------

Only list events between the following dates:
Start Date
ie. 1/27/1997
End Date
ie. 2/27/1997






-----------------------------If I add the line: and I select the option the limit the date range then no records are everreturned (of course). So any ideas on how to exclude old events (and stillaloow date-range limiting) without this code? I can't use a [showif] in theresults template because I'd like my numfound statement to match theactual records being displayed -I might be wrong on this but I believenumfound will show the total number of matchs even if data is hidden byshowif/hideif statements.
