texte = HiI would like to offer a sliding scale discount system whereby the discount applied to an order varies/is changed each time a product is added to (or removed from) a cart. In effect the discount would be based on the total order quantity (i.e the total number of units from all lines of the order file) but would be applied to each line separately. It would need to be recalculated each time somthing was added or removed from the cart. Can this be done or would the discount have to be a separate line in the cart (preferably always the last line)?Could there be another field in the order file called [discount] which could also have a formula in the formula.db database? I suppose you could use either unitShipCost or ShipCost to create this effect....How do you calculate the total number of units ordered? Thanks in advance!Jeremy Jeremy Pocock NetCommerce Ltd http://www.NetCommerce.co.uk ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tel: +44 (0)1703 456656 Fax: +44 (0)1703 453231 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Email address : jpocock@NetCommerce.co.uk ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Buy It On-Line in 97! http://www.ShopsOnTheNet.co.uk http://www.ShopsOnTheNet.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- InfoDisk - Address and Telephone Numbers for over 44 million UK residents on CD-Rom Order Your Copy Now from IDDirect! http://www.iddirect.co.uk ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Europe's Premier On-Line CD Rom Retailer http://www.CDDirect.co.uk Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
