texte = Is it possible to have WebCatalog search multiple databases in a single search? Our inventory can appear in several subcategories simultaneously so I'd like the subcategory to be a related table listing all the subcategories that product can belong to. A simplified example of this would be a piece of software (category Educational, for instance) that could be Mac, PC, or Unix, depending on what was selected at time of purchase. So this item in the inventory.db would have a category of Educational, and multiple subcategories of Mac, PC, and Unix. There's also other subcategories for this item (such as CDROM, floppy, download, etc.) We'd like a search for Mac Software to find this item. We'd also like a search for programs available on floppy to find this item, as well as one for Educational Mac software on floppies. The customer selects a category for searching, then gets a search page with up to 3 popups to select (mutually independent) subcategories they are looking for.To do this, I need WebCatalog to search each subcategory database for all SKUs that meet the criteria for each subcategory (ie Mac, CDROM) and AND the results together (only SKUs with Mac and CDROM). I didn't see any documentation for doing this. Nesting searches is getting pretty messy fast. Is there a better way? Thanks in advance!Sandy Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
