texte = Grant, Marc, Ken, John & whoever else might be interestedI have looked this over and I cannot find any clue as to what might be wrong. I have gone so far as to reinstall both Webstar and Webcatalog, and set it up with the cgi instead of the plugin to see if it made a difference, to no avail. The behaviour is identical in both circumstancesIs it possible that the server is merely putting up the *same page without reinterpreting it*? That seems to be what is happening, but I don't know how to verify that.Do you see any mistakes in this shownext context? Grant suggested using [Searchstring] as a parameter instead of listing them out, but when I looked into the webstar admin log, the data was being passed differently from what the search context on the results page required (resulting in 0 item(s) found), so I modified it to match what the search template sends to get the same data sent both times.[shownext position=begin&max=1&method=POST]
[/shownext] With verbose logging on in Webstar, the context is interpreted on the results template as
The following post data is what actually gets sent back to the results template when clicking the shownext button cart=296247083925&SearchField=Title&SearchAction=ws&SearchCriteria=arthritis&max=3&startat=4compared to what the results template received from the search template SearchField=Title&SearchAction=ws&searchCriteria=arthritis&Max=3&Startat=1The only difference being the addition of the cart variable and startat incrementing to 4, I would assume that I would get the next 3 titles starting at 4. But no, I get the same three titles over and over again, and the shownext button on the bottom of the page always says Show items 4-6The whole code for the results template as well as the search template are included for your reference.Search Template
