texte = When I was first learning WebCatalog, I found the manual to be quite sufficient, dare I say even helpful. It wasn't until I really began to push the program and develop a good sense of the intricacies of WebDNA that I began to notice the shortfallings of the documentation. The shortcomings are, for the most part, in the form of undocumented or underdocumented advanced features. I used the tutorials to get started, and have used them to teach others, and found myself doing useful things with WebCatalog right away.Also, the videos are not being sold by Pacific Coast. A separate company produced and is selling the videos, so I think any anger toward PCS in this matter is misdirected. Are we all getting upset with Adobe because the MacWorld Photoshop Bible is better than the manual that ships with Photoshop? Hell no. Why should this situation be any different?Really, the bottom line is this: you don't need the tapes to use the product. If you don't want to buy them, don't.
