texte = Could somebody give me a lead and code on the use of [authenticate]. I am not understanding its application.I put [authenticate] into a page which pulls up the username/password dialog box, how can I then use the input username and password data to allow the visitor to access say a customer database (which has the fields username and password)?I have tried all ways of inserting [username] and [password] onto the page which contains [authenticate], and I have created WebStar realms with known usernames and passwords, but nothing seems to happen.
