texte = I found the following problems/solution. in bbedit if saved as mac format the send mail sends emails formatted with one character per line when viewed on aol. other clients seem ok. when saved as dos the send mail sends mails formatted with an extra carriage return like double spaced. it appears this way on all recieving email clients checked. if saved as unix mode the send mail formats the mail exactly as it appears on the page. i dont know exactly what the settings in bbedit changes it is nothing visible in the code but it makes all the difference in the output.Jym .Wilkins, John wrote:> I have a Form where I can create a Letter to be emailed to a database group. > The Form works find and the next page uses [WriteFile] to create a text file > containing the letter text.
