texte = I have a database which is currently 16,000 records in size for a total disk space of ~6MB. I need to build a datafile of the e-mail addresses contained in the database. Currently, extracting just 500 records takes 36 seconds on a slow G3. I understand that speed is relative to the processor.... When I it this template from a browser it take close to 40 seconds to complete and all this time the server (WebSTAR) appears to be deaf to other connections. How can I make this execute faster or friendlier especially considering that the real application will need at least one other search argument and the database will do nothing but grow in terms of number of records.[math show=f]count=0[/math][delete db=test.db&neDBEMAILdata=_delete_all][search db=XXXXXXXX.db&neSKUdatarq=_find_all_&max=500][numfound] records found.
[founditems][math show=f]count=[count]+1[/math][append db=test.db]dbemail=[url][email] ([MemberName])[/url][/append][/founditems][/search][count] records mailed.Thanks,___Joe____________________________________________________Joseph D'Andrea JoeDan@West21.comWEST21.com Internet services for the 21st Century http://www.west21.com/_________________________________________________-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
