texte = I have a db full of numbers. and I want daily and final totals.I set my numbers to 0[math show=f]newtotal=0[/math]so I do a search on the db to find each different day, [search db=ordertracking.db&neskudata=bogus&orderdatesumm=t&deorderdatesort=1&orderd atetype=date] [founditems] [math show=f]DAYcommish=0[/math] <-I set the daily to 0 here [orderdate]then I do an inner search for each order on each day...[search db=ordertracking.db&eqorderdatedata=[orderdate]] [founditems] [math show=f]newtotal=(newtotal+[ordertotal])[/math]
[/founditems][/search] [/founditems] [/search] Then at the end I display my new total which is all of the daily totals...total: [math show=t]newtotal[/math]
Problem is I'm getting wildly different results each time I run it. Am I doing something dumb? if I urlthe second search thusly b&eqorderdatedata=[url][orderdate][/url]] it seems consistant, but I don't understand why. is it dividing the dates? mm/dd/yyyy even so, wouldn't it be the same every time?-Aaron LynchDigital Speed Networks 206.227.4934 <-Please note new phone # ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
