texte = First, Thank you to all of you that have tried to help with this.Second, and more important, the Solution. It was GoLive! (grrrrr)I have the site set-up as a GoLive 4.0 site file. When I open the site, GoLive for some reason locks out all file activity to anything in the site. But, just to make it that much more difficult, when I closed the site file, GoLive continues to lock the files. I had to quit GoLive for the code to work properly. This is a new one on me I have been using GoLive and WebCat for about 4 years, and this is the first time I have experienced this. So, the moral of the story is this. . . If you use GoLive to program your sites, and you suddenly have difficulty updating your db's while GoLive is open, quit GoLive and test the page. (Before you spend 5 hours troubleshooting a WebCat problem that doesn't exists)Thanks again for all the help.
