texte = Well, I to am looking at a new rackmount server. My original thought was the Xserve was great, but pricey.. too pricey for what I can handle at the moment. So I thought, instead I'll get a rack enclosure and build a nice linux machine from scratch. After I got into it a bit I learned that the Xserve was not a bad price at all. All the little pieces and time add up and what your left with is something *arguably* less than what an Xserve offers.Where that leaves me is without a new rackmount server for the moment. :-)Hey, might anyone be interested in going into a community Xserve purchase? We could run a multiple domain Mail server,ftp, Apache or WebStar and WebDNA. Just thought of that... don't know if it would work or not.
