Field value disappearing problem

texte = Hello, Anyone feel like getting in depth and helping me with a vanishing information problem? The details are a bit lengthy to post on the list but the skinny is: I have a situation where adding ">" to the database field value deletes everything in that value. However, it is more specific... If I add "something>" it seems to keep it. If I add "something> " (with a return after the ">") it deletes all. I can't figure it out. Help Appreciated! :-) please. Donovan P.S.
