My hosting service just installed a new LINUX/Apache server and offers SQL (I'm not sure if it's MySQL or something else), PHP, ColdFusion, ASP, WebDNA, and a handful of others. He likes ColdFusion because of stability and seamless integration with (someone's version of) SQL but other programmer colleagues have strongly recommend PHP over ColdFusion, although I'm not sure why so I will have to check with them again, unless someone here has experience with both and can suggest one over the other. I'm just trying to get a handle on this situation so I can have my sites rebuilt in something other than WebDNA before it actually becomes necessary ... >I have to say "yes" to the conversion question only because LAMP is >the devil I know.
