Things do get heated now and then because the veterins see the same things crop up over and over. They have put their time in (again and again) answering sometimes the same questions. It's probably best to write heated remarks off as "programming is a precise venture and it doesn't take much to set programmers off! ;-)" Anway, Joe is correct that it is more appropriate to cut/paste exact code. I am guilty of not doing this as well as sometimes I don't want to reveal my code. The flip side though is that these folks are taking valueable time out of their schedule to help out and, since programming *is* an exacting science, it will make folks less heated if they can answer straight questions with straight answers.
