The BAD News: You need to learn a new method of building websites and it takes a little time. Start slow. The standards-compliant game is a continuum - you needn't go all out on your first site unless you're an overachiever :) I recommend diving into AListApart.com and Zeldman.com for an introduction and continuing inspiration.
