Re: Server Error Question [bug?]

It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 60101
interpreted = N
texte = We've had the same error happen several times. The logs do not help, and SMSI could shed no light. This obviously shakes our clients confidence, and causes me to wonder if WebDNA is really appropriate for our mission-critical applications. I won't rule out the possibility of a programming issue. But, considering the competence and experience of our engineer, and the fact that others are experiencing the same errors, leads me to think that this smells like a bug. What set-ups is everyone else who's getting this error message running? I'm on WebDNA 6, OSX 10.3.5, and I don't appear to be pushing the limits of the server resources. One thing that would be useful, would be if we could trigger an alert email when this problem pops up. I wonder if this error would prevent an alert going out from emailer, or similar. Are we limited to 3rd party apps for failure alerts? Thanks, -Chris >I've gotten this error a couple of times recently when traffic was very >high. > > >On 11/17/04 2:21 PM, "Larry Hewitt" wrote: > >> "Sorry, WebCatalog server not running" (maybe WebDNA server not >> running, I can't remember back that far) >> >> This happened on our county election server, VoteWashington.Org, on >> election night as counties began to post their election returns.
