The cutoff version isn't the same for every platform. I= don't think OSX supports it until 8.5. I had dynamically linked against the= system's ancient OpenSSL library on OSX for quite some time. In WebDNA 8.5 o=n OSX I switched to statically linking our own OpenSSL in.
I believe some Linux builds as soon as 8.0 support it. It just depend=s which Linux distribution it was built against. I think 8.2 is probably whe=n all Linux builds supported it.- chris
