texte = In the Webcat Admin Pages you should find the option to Close allDatabases. Ken also included this in his Speed Admin site that he postedup to the cutomer solutions area for all to use (thx Ken). Simply useeither of these to force WebCat to close its databases prior to youuploading another copy. The important thing to keep in mind is that WebCat is making all changes tothe databases in RAM and is not updating the copy on the hard disk unless:a) You quit the application. b) explicitly invoke either a [flushdatabase]or a [closedatabase] command. c) WebCat runs out of available RAm and selfflushes the databases. So just remember to take some action to close down the databases you wantto update prior to copying over a new version. Otherwise when WebCat doeswrite its RAM held databases it will write over the new one you justuploaded - I can't tell you how many times I have done that to myself. As a safety precaution, I always include either a [flushdatabase] or[closedatabase] at the end of every template which is modifying thedatabase. That way I'm assurred of the version on the hard drive remainingcurrent. Others are doing the same and I think a few people might be doinga time-based [flushdatabase].hope that helps-marty>Good morning!>>Discovered yesterday that, unlike templates, databases are not updated>with a new modification date... :-(>>Am wondering how others on this list quickly update their databases; I>suppose adding a link on the Admin page?
