How about Javascript? You could have a dummy home page that had a Javascript that (1) reads the cookie and then (2) writes out a redirect to a .tpl file that happens as soon as cookie is read (put cookie info in the URL). Not elegant and not completely compatible with all browsers, but should work. I sortta use this technique to allow my Javascript to feed user variables (like local time) to an applet that runs once the Javascript is done its duty.By the way, ASP does an EXCELLENT job handling cookies! This kind of solutions does not exist on the mac, at least I don't think so. I think once full HTTP header support and full cookie support is integrated in webcat, it will be an *extremely* comprehensive and compelling solution.Aloha,Olin.....................................................................W O R L D P O I N T I N T E R A C T I V E OLIN KEALOHA LAGON director, web sales & servicesHonolulu San Francisco 2800 woodlawn drive 222 sutter street olin@worldpoint.com suite 170 sixth floor www.worldpoint.com honolulu, hi 96822 san francisco, ca 94108 voice.808.539.3978 fax.808.539.3943 cell.808.291.1610.....................................................................
