Assigning new CART number
This WebDNA talk-list message is from 1997

numero = 15440
interpreted = N
texte = Earlier in the day, I posted about how I have an INCLUDE that checks thereferring domain and assigns a new cart number if it meets the rightcriteria. Everything works fine, except for one case, which I discoveredwhen hopping around on the second site that I'm building.When I type in the URL of a page on my site (while in my domain) withoutincluding a cart argument it generates a new CART, but in scientificnotation.So, if I type in: http://www.mydomain.com/Index5.html?SEC=MainI,d get to the page, but all of the links would have CART=2945827638734+e13in the URL.I fixed this by writing the [CART] argument in my INCLUDE as [FORMAT13s][CART][/FORMAT], but since WebCat generates cart numbers that are 15digits long, I'm worried about preserving uniqueness.How can I keep the 15 digit length of the cart?MichaelMichael Winston *By Phone!: (503)/652/8815 x341Internet Coordinator *By e-mail!: michaelw@dhorse.comDark Horse Comics, Inc. *By web!: http://www.dhorse.com/
