>Show text: [ConvertChars>db=MyConversions.db][input][comments][/input][/ConvertChars]Tana,I'm been fiddling with this stuff recently as well. I came to the same conclusion, though, that Brian Boegershausen did in that the it *should* work if you remove the [input] context for the part where you display your results; but, leave the [input] context for the input form part. I've done this and it seems to work. You can check it out at:http://www.portlandschools.org/test/input.tplhttp://www.portlandschools.org/test/input2.tplIn this example, both input.tpl and input2.tpl are identical in terms of the textarea input, but output.tpl does NOT use the [input] context and output2.tpl does use it.Here's the code snippet for input.tpl:Here's the code snippet for input2.tpl:Here's the code snippet for output.tpl:[replace db=test.db&eqmtgDatedata=20000217&append=T]mtgDate=[__mtgDate]&mtgContent=[__mtgContent][/replace][search db=test.db&eqmtgDatedata=20000217][founditems][convertChars db=PPSConv.db][mtgContent][/convertChars][/founditems][/search]Here's the code snippet for output2.tpl:[replace db=test.db&eqmtgDatedata=20000217&append=T]mtgDate=[__mtgDate]&mtgContent=[__mtgContent][/replace][search db=test.db&eqmtgDatedata=20000217][founditems][convertChars db=PPSConv.db][input][mtgContent][/input][/convertChars][/founditems][/search]my conversion db looks like this:from to%1D    %0B
