texte = I posted a message earlier about problems with httpupload. After some help from Bob Minor, we determinedthat the problem was this . . .IF you use [fileinfo ....path] to get the [imagewidth]or the [imageheight] for a file, and the file you aregetting this information for is named xxxx.gif, BUT itis really is a jpeg file (or vise-versa) some hooeythings can happen to the information that is returnedwithin the [fileinfo] tags. So, if webCatalog 4.0 can extract width and heightinformation from the binary data of jpeg and giffiles, it should be very easy to also tell if theimage is compressed using jpeg or gif compression. Thus a [filetype] tag would be very useful. Is there anyway that anyone can think of or knows ofto use WebDNA look at a file and tell what type itREALLY is without looking at the extension on thefilename? Thanks!Jeff__________________________________________________Do You Yahoo!?Get Yahoo!
