texte = webcat 3.0.04, web* 4.2, mac 8.6Has anyone ever had a problem with records that have been deleted from a dbfile using the Delete tag, reappearing in the file one or two days later? This is being reported to me from one of our sites. I've tried to reproduceit during the last couple of days and can't. The client says that atfirst, it appears that the record was deleted as a search of the file showsit is not there and then it shows up a day or so later, back in the file. Also, it's intermittent - doesn't happen every time.It would sound on the surface like a classic case of a backup filereplacing a newer file, but I know that's not the case as there are alsorecords that are being added and modified and those are call current andcorrect.I'm also using [commitdatabase] after the delete to make sure it getswritten back to disk. Could this be a problem? This client is very commputer-savvy and assuming the client is not justimagining this, are there any situations that anyone can think of thatmight cause this. I've run out of ideas, although I did ask them to keep alog of exactly when they delete and when the record shows back up to see ifthere is a pattern. There's not much written in the docs or in the archive about the deletefunction, so...Sally-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
