texte = HelloI'm a real newbie to WebDNA and I'm having some trouble. I'm running Typhoon Pro on OS9 on a G4/400.We've created a WebDNA powered database system for tracking and billing items to our client accounts. Now, several of our clients have requested a way to access this information themselves. So what I've whipped up is another version of our templates that allows a client to check their account. Since I'm on Typhoon, I did this with a context. In case I'm not using the correct terminology, this is what I am talking about: .What I have found, however, is that someone with a little knowledge of HTML can download the form, modify the client name and then gain access to another client's account.I first thought that this could be solved with encrypting the template, but for some reason I cannot get this to work. I have tried downloading Ken Grome's encrypter from the PCS FTP site and get nothing but garbage (look for yourself at http://www.iea.ualr.edu/encrypt.tpl).Any ideas on how I can access an account for a specific client, yet make it unmodifiable so another client's account can't be accessed? Furthermore, any ideas why I can't seem to display encrypted templates?HELP! _______________________________________________________________________ Steve Dannaway Email: smdannaway@ualr.edu Web Technologies Manager Phone: 501-569-8542 UALR Institute for Economic Advancement Fax: 501-569-8538 Web: http://www.aiea.ualr.edu/ Web: http://www.dina.org/ _______________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
