My sys-op didn't, and unlike me, he's a fairly experienced WebDNA programmer.Create a web page that basically contains [CLOSEDATABASE] commands for all the databases you update manually on a fairly regular basis. Upload the page, bookmark it, and just visit the page every time you've updated one of the bases.I don't know if recent WebCatalog versions keep track on database updates, but the old one I use, certainly doesn't. It keeps handing out the same old cached data indefinitely no matter what I do to the actual files. The trick is, of course, especially relevant for webmasters who don't have admin privileges to the server, but I've found it to be quite convenient for an admin as well. It allows you to refresh databases remotely without logging in and if you want to, you can create different pages with different sets of databaes to refresh in one go.Frank Nordberg http://www.musicaviva.com ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
