texte = I have text being written to a database that at times contains exclamation marks and question marks etc. I'm able to retrieve it OK and show it as needed, but if I choose to do a [hideif] on the entire field and field name if its empty, all fails if I have one of these characters within the stored text. The hideif fails only if the field contains any text with an exclamation mark. If the field and its stored text doesn't contain an exclamation mark all is well, it appears. My code where it all fails to show anything at all when the field contains a "!" : [hideif [unique_features]=] Unique Features: [unique_features] [/hideif] I've tried [convertchars][unique_features][/convertchars] with no success. What am I missing here? It seems the hideif sees the "!" in [unique_features] and stops anything from being shown. DO I need something custom in the convertchars.db? This only happens with a [hideif] being used. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
