texte = One real easy solution is 2checkout.com. They handle all the SSL and Credit Card handling. You give them a header and footer include to wrap the processing form into (to make it look like the clients front-end), tell them a landing page to redirect back to. They offer order tracking, etc. The Pros: one time $49 setup fee. No monthly Gateway Fees. Easy to integrate with site. The Cons: They charge 5.x% (cannot recall exact amount) per transaction. They release the payment funds twice a month (1st and 16th of the month). You could also use PayPal. They have a way to set it up so that the end-user does not need to have a paypal account (VPN? or something like that). Good Luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Kudrle" To: "WebDNA Talk" Sent: Thursday, February 26, 2004 10:17 AM Subject: need e-commerce recommendation Hello Everyone, I'm needing to set up a temporary quick and painless e-commerce solution to handle credit card transactions for a potential client. I've been looking at Verisign's PayFlow link, but was wondering if anyone knows of a service that is comporable or better. I would normally create a full-featured e-commerce system using WebDNA's features and will probably create a front end using WebDNA, but the client is only selling one item on a site that is going to be live for only a few months. Ideally I'm looking for a service that will handle, SSL, Credit Auth, and the merchant account. Any recommendations?
