texte = Okay heres the truth from a more relaxed perspective:Greg's hosting service is really excellent on the whole, one of the best I have used. I would recommend it to anyone running a webdna site.I may have been out of line to suggest that he "should have known" about this problem, especially when I'm the first person to ever report it to him in all the months/years that he's been running his service. But sometimes I get frustrated when a problem keeps me from proceeding in business. Thanks to Greg and Jesse we now know that webdna v4.0.x is not a good version of webdna to run on linux. Fortunately v4.5.1 is a free upgrade that will fix these problems for anyone who wishes to upgrade, and of course v6 is even better -- I'm running v6 in the office and it's great so far!Greg has agreed to move my sites to a different linux server that's already running v4.5.1, so now I'm anticipating that these permissions problems will be resolved permanently. Thanks to Greg, Alain, Jesse and John for their contributions to the better understanding and the resolution of this problem, not only for me but for anyone else who can benefit from this information.:)-- Kenneth GromeWebDNA ProgrammerOutsource Service ProviderPhone: +6332 255-6591-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
