It appears that the code is not being rewritten, but I still can't use Page Preview to see the displayed page. Hi Joe, Yes, DW will muck with your code by default. To correct that, go to Edit > Preferences then Code Rewriting. - Uncheck everything - add .tpl, .htm, .html to the list of file types to never rewrite code for (probably overkill if you uncheck everything, but I'd rather be safe) - make sure that the radio button that reads "Do NOT encode special characters" is selected under URL Encoding. Also, if you can't get .tpl to display (render) in the preview mode, I wrote some instructions some time ago - I can't verify that they still work or are even needed - seems to me that DWMX picked up .tpl with no problems last time for me, but just in case: http://search.smithmicro.com/TalkListArchive/DetailResults.tpl?command=searc h&db=webdna-talk.db&eqIDdata=39438&max=1&words=dreamweaver%20gk Gary At 09:21 AM 1/3/2005, you wrote: >I seem to recall that there is some way to get dreamweaver to ignore and >not edit my [...] stuff.
