I have a simple textarea form field on an "edit page" If I type this into the field and save the changes: There's nothing like some hot and heavy celebrity lawsuit action All is well.... If I go to a web page that might have that sentence and "copy" it and paste it into that same form field and save the changes: There’s nothing like some hot and heavy celebrity lawsuit action the apostrophe and quote marks etc all change as above. Why would this be???? If I "paste" it into notepad, copy it from notepad and then insert it into this form field the same happens to the apostrophe etc. But if I type it in notepad, copy it and paste it into the form field all is well. Just wondering in case someone decides to use this copy/paste route on a project I'm almost finished with. Is it in my code use... on my initial "enter data" page: in my append to db code: &BlogText=[BlogText] on my "edit data" page: or is it just the way text characters behave in a case like this regardless thanks __________________________________ Celebrate Yahoo!'s 10th Birthday!
