I could not get the suggested SSH tunneling workaround to work.I have since switched to jedit on XP. It is great for me. It is free, supports SFTP, and works on Win, Mac and Linux. You can even dock the file viewer like in EditPlus.I also use jedit on the Mac from time to time (I really like the text folding), although I still mostly use BBEdit and Transmit since it seems like the fastest combination for upload via SFTP.BillOn Aug 26, 2005, at 10:34 PM, Dale's Lists wrote:> Hi,>> I normally do all my editing on a Mac with BBEdit, I need to be using > a WinXP machine for a bit and am wondering what is a similar program > on the windows platform?>> Thanks for any suggestions.>> drt>> -------------------------------------------------------------> This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to> the mailing list
