Another suggestion is to look at webmin.com. Has a HTML GUI for managing just about every aspect of just about every type of Unix, including OS X. Install it, then connect using a browser. There's a tab for servers and PureFTP is one of those that webmin supports. It allows you to start/stop and manage users, etc. Pat On Jun 16, 2006, at 1:46 AM, Marko Bernyk wrote: > Under Unix you use 'make' at the command prompt > Hopefully you have all the libraries installed and paths mapped > help is at cmd prompt 'man make' > > Under MacOSX I dunno... maybe XCode ??? > > -- > Regards, > Marko > > > On Friday, 16 June 2006 10:02 AM, Donovan Brooke > wrote: > Hello, > > I'm pretty new to FINK and installing binaries. You wouldn't have to use 'make' for the binary, though, would you? I think it just installs like any other OS X program. Just double- click the RPM. Another suggestion is to look at webmin.com.
