Or put a one-second meta-refresh tag into a template that contains the code I want to run every second, then request that file via my web browser -- and just let it sit there requesting the page once per second during the one-hour auction. This will do the same thing as 60 separate triggers as long as my browser computer remains online. It should reduce the server load too (but probably not significantly) because the requests will be coming from an external browser instead of from webdna on the server. I've done this before during testing, and I may just do it again for this auction site. The auction is only going to run for one hour anyways.
