texte = Note that WebDNA 6.2 already runs on IIS7/2008 Server Enterprise 64bit Here the original message from Patrick McCormick on March 25, 2009: I managed to get WebDNA v6.1 CICADA working under Windows Server 2008 = Enterprise, 64 bit. This OS supports running 32 bit .dlls if properly = configured. I'm posting the steps here in case anyone else needs it, and = because I'll forget and need to look this up again. 1) Before installing WebDNA, you need to make sure that you have already = installed IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility, ISAPI Extension Support and = ISAPI Filters on the server. Make sure you can get to the default web = page with a browser and figure that out before proceeding. 2) Install the Windows CICADA package. It will attempt to set up and = configure the services and will likely generate an error message. We = will update the installer in the future, but until then, please follow = the rest of these steps. 3) Open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. 4) Double-click =93Handler Mappings=94 from the main IIS screen. 5) Click on =93Add Script Map.=94 6) Set up the handler mapping for = c:\inetpub\scripts\WebCatalogEngine\$WebCat.dll with extensions *.tpl, = *.tmpl, *.htm, *.html, plus/or any other suffixes and check to allow the = ISAPI extension and execution of scripts. 7) Double-click =93ISAPI & CGI Restrictions=94 on the main IIS screen. = Right-click on PHP and select =93Edit Feature Settings=94 and check = =93Allow unspecified ISAPI modules.=94 8) Right-click on the Default Application Pool (or the one you want to = use if more than one) and select =93Advanced Settings.=94 9) Change the =93Enable 32-bit Applications=94 to True. Click OK. This = spawns the App Pool in 32-bit mode, so if you have other modules that = need to be run in 64-bit mode, best to separate the website into two App = Pools: one 32-bit and one 64-bit. 10) Restart the server. -Pat On Jan 26, 2012, at 12:16, Terry Nair wrote: > Hi Chris, >=20 > Was wondering ....what would be the estimated cost to get WebDNA 6.2 = to run > on the latest Win Server OS.
