Since we're sharing ideas...I'm enjoying the brainstorming going on in the other threads and= don't want to interfere with it, so I'm making this a separate thr=ead.Why not combine all of our [functions] that w=e've all created into a single "global" function lib that cou=ld be included in part or in its entirety (or not at all) by any of us, unt=il and if the functions become their own tags, such as [realIP] etc.<=div>I have offered some of mine for a while now:<=a href=3D"http://blog.danstrong.com/useful-webdna-functions/" target=3D"_bl=ank">http://blog.danstrong.com/useful-webdna-functions/<=a href=3D"http://blog.danstrong.com/secure-hashing-with-webdna/" target=3D"=_blank">http://blog.danstrong.com/secure-hashing-with-webdna/=...as have others over the years. Some of them are comm=on and overlap a bit (like timestamps, etc.) so maybe if it was hosted on g=ithub and "open sourced", we could consolidate and refine the mos=t useful ones until we came up with a truly useful library?-Dan Strong
