numero = 48303

texte = Another thread mentioned 4.0.x and the 'need' to upgrade to 4.5x.So I have a question, and if the answer is pointing me to a url that shows me the answer then by all means please do :-)We too are using 4.0... To be specific 4.0.2b7.Why? Because it just works. In fact I simply cannot recall the last time we have had a webcat related crash. (a couple of slowdowns but those were my fault).Now I know that the 4.5.x versions will allow me to go past the 100 DB limit, which we could definitely use, but I was reluctant because something so seemingly ingrained to webcat makes me nervous when it just goes away :-)So what I am trying to find out is (again maybe a url), 1. What are the fundamental benefits to getting the box on 4.5.x? 2. Are any of us using 4.0.x on MacOS9.x and having any troubles?Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective (my clients tend to think the latter) I have always been if it aint broke don fix it, don't touch, don't even look at it ;-). Admittedly sometimes I get stuck in that safe little trap so hence my question.Thanks all :-)(PS Sam, I got your email. Have just been buried and still working on the thing in Question. I will be happy to share when I am done tweaking :-) AlexAlex J McCombie New World Media Chief Information Officer Drawer 607 800/724.8973 Fair Haven, NY 13064 Alex@NewWorldMedia.com http://OurClients.comInterface Designer WebDNA Programmer Database Designer------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
