About 2 years ago I installed an Astaro box that detects false email addresses and bounces emails with bad senders. When I installed the Astaro box I expected to reprogram all of my websites, but was amazed to find that the non-sandbox sites were still functioning. So basically, I believe there is a bug in the system.Matthew A PerosiPsi Prime, Inc.http://www.psiprime.com323 Union Blvd.Totowa, NJ 07512P: 973.413.8210F: 973.413.8217Donovan Brooke wrote:> Matthew A Perosi wrote:>> Donovan I actually will disagree with you here slightly.>>>> From my own testing I have discovered that domains running in their >> own sandbox *do* require the from address to be a real >> (non-messed-with) email.>>>> However, I have also been surprised to find out that domains not >> running in a sandbox can use any valid formatted email address, real >> or not.>>>> On many of my customer sites we are using contact forms with the from >> address simply being website@domain.com.
