Grant, take a look at Maxum's Comparison Operators for NetCloak: http://www.maxum.com/NetCloak/UsersGuide/Std/NC08BComparison.html They take the text approach, using GT for greater than, etc. It works. It's easy to master. They've got a user base that you would love to schmooze over to your product. As I recall, Netcloak is one of the oldest and most widely used Swiss Army Knife type server tools around and their user base had quite a hand in how they chose their syntax.
