texte = My 2 cents (USD, of course):1) The fact that SM had a chat at all was cool and definitely a step in the right direction, however, as Ken pointed out, many various things about the nature of chats themselves (scheduling, hard to follow, etc. etc.) make it a not-so-ideal medium to conduct serious business and/or research IMHO.2) This list is cool too, and, yes, I know it's archived, but I think the idea of a 'Forum' (basically a threaded message board requiring registration) where we hold these discussions would be the best of both worlds. We could discuss and also archive at the same time, while allowing the subject matter (WebDNA) to be more visable and therefore accessible and therefore less scary to newbies who will (hopefully) therefore begin to start coding in it faster and then we can all therefore start getting filthy stinking rich and sip Spring Fever Fizzes off of naked island women's bellies while Ken Grome's sweatshop cranks out line after line of code for the cost of the little umbrellas in our drinks!!!!!! .....BWAHA HA HA!!!Ahem, excuse me... sorry about that. Seriously, I think that Sal's vision of the forum is an excellent idea from a marketing standpoint and I'm all for it.3) I don't know what will happen to the list. Maybe it will die. Maybe not. Any ideas on that? Really, what would be the use of an email-based talklist when we have the forum running?-Dan ------------------------------------------- http://www.StrongGraphicDesign.com (208) 319-0137 | Toll-free p/f 877-561-1656------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
