texte = At one point, I guess not long after SMSI took over Webcatalog...errrrrr,= WebDNA from PCS, they "looked" like they were going to make something of= it. New version came out as I recall, new website with a little forum and= a place to upload snippets, etc. I suppose that they didn't get the= response that they were looking for or just decided that selling Fish-Tank= Screensavers was more profitable because they've all but abandoned the= product now.With so many free PHP templates that customers can set up and webhosting for= $8.99 /mo with all the bells and whistles, my business has all but dried up= so I'll be moving on. I have a few leads on some (unrelated) job= opportunities - I'm moving away from IT stuff as I'm just getting too old= to learn new tricks.I really would hope that SMSI would open source the product, but= realistically, what incentive do they have to do so? They could offer an= open source version and a pay version, but if the OS community becomes= active and adds all kinds of stuff, who's going to pay for the high dollar= version?At any rate, I'm not leaving the list here, I've chatted with you guys for= too many years.
