texte = Donovan and Christophe, First, thanks for you suggestions. I do FTP dbs and other files to the server, so owner and group are *not* www. However, I use the Access Control Lists to ensure that www has read and write permissions to all the files. I just double- checked, and those settings are still correct. It's always worked for me before...
