Apache 2.0.55 and iTools 8.x are not supported. Again, I understand the frustration involved with server problems.. and, it goes without saying, that our intention is to release a new patch that is fully tested with the newer configurations (Apache 2.x and the latest iTools). But let me be clear. It is a *futile* effort for me, or anyone else to troubleshoot a server that is running unsupported configurations. *Everyone* that has reported problems on this new list, and that has given server details, so far has been running something unsupported. Hell, I don't blame you guys. I want to run new configurations/tools as well. However, the trade-off is that you then have no base for pointing the finger of blame. I installed another 6.0a a few weeks ago on another older iMac G4 running all supported configurations, and it is running perfectly. I suggest everyone that is having problems, for the time being, do that as well. It may not get rid of all your problems, but it is the base you must build on right now, and people on the list will feel better about helping out. I also want to expose that I am not getting paid with my new title of VP... not yet at least! I take time away from my paying clients (which they certainly don't like, and my family certainly doesn't like) to try and help because I want to see this language survive and the WebDNA community grow. I am a WebDNA believer so to speak... I've drank the cool-ade and like it. ;-) So, I say, we all know where WebDNA is at in its current state and where it *was* heading before WSC acquired it. Lets stay positive. Run supported configurations if you can and give the product a little time to catch up to modern day. Also, a reminder that you guys can help as well!
